Chad Merrihew, a University of Oregon Business graduate, founded MerrihewRentals
in 2005 to make the rental process painless, comfortable, and personal for college
students. Recently, MerrihewRentals joined forces with Solorio Builders and has
renamed itself The Rooted Group, Inc. Since, The Rooted Group has expanded beyond
serving the college community and currently owns and manages several homes and duplexes
in Oregon, Illinois, and California, Kansas, and Missouri.
What sets The Rooted Group, Inc. aside from other companies is the personal face-to-face
interaction tenants will receive, along with a full service website. Therootedgroup.com
allows prospective tenants to look at available properties that include property/house
photo gallery and a virtual tour. Prospective tenants can apply for units online
and gives current tenants the opportunity to submit maintenance requests online.
As The Rooted Group continues to expand, we aim to provide our tenants with an ideal
